The pristine acreage has no structures or dwellings on it, presenting favorable conditions for new construction.  A future home will be connected to municipal sewers and public water.  Underground utilities, natural gas and cable will serve the neighborhood.

Interested parties are invited to review the property’s topography map, boundary line survey and site plan.  Since this sub-division has been approved for residential development, percolation testing has already been done.  Curbs and sidewalks are planned for this upscale new home community.

Residential building lots in Basking Ridge are rare, especially in such a remarkable cul de sac setting. Opportunity awaits the visionary buyer who seeks a suburban lifestyle in a central location.Vacant land in Basking Ridge

Aerial Photo of 160 Sunnybranch RdHistoric Reproduction of a Newport Mansion

Visitors who have toured the opulent mansions of Newport, Rhode Island will immediately be struck by the similarities of those regal homes to this Far Hills real estate offering.  The architectural firm of Brandes Maselli was inspired by the landmark Bell House in Newport, a 19th century Shingle style mansion that combined Old English and European architecture with Colonial American details.  Situated on ten acres bordering the legendary 400-acre Natirar park preserve, this residence surveys rolling green lawns, leafy mature trees and open pastureland.

An original foundation served as the home’s footprint when it was built in 2005, while further amenities were added in 2007.  A seamless blend of state-of-the-art technology components, high levels of craftsmanship, and classic design elements have produced a highly sophisticated yet comfortable living environment in 22 bright and airy rooms.

Period details include carved paneling, wainscoting, deep moldings and oak flooring on three distinct levels.  Limestone fireplaces provide a gracious focal point in the formal living room, formal dining room and cherry paneled library.  A chef’s kitchen opens onto the firelit family room, creating a warm and inviting open space.  Dual bay windows overlook the roomy terrace and parklike grounds.

A total of seven bedrooms, eight full limestone baths and two power rooms include a convenient first floor bedroom with private bath.  The second story master suite of rooms contains dual offices and two walk-in closets fitted with wardrobe organizers.  Spa-like details in the master bath like heated floors and towel racks, a multi-headed steam shower and soaking tub.  In a separate wing are four more bedroom and full bath suites as well as a laundry room.

Leisure areas enhance the walk-out lower level, which presents a media room, full service bar, home gym, guest bedroom, 1,800-bottle wine cellar, two full baths and storage options.  A two-story carriage house sheltered by a mature maple tree grove can be used for auto hobbyists or equestrian pursuits.  A rare find in New Jersey real estate, this Shingle style home offers an unparalleled living experience.
